The Home Stretch
We need YOUR HELP TODAY to keep YOUR child's technology education! ONLY $8,425 to go!

We need $95,000 to pay the salaries and supplies for your MVES Computer & Science Lab instructors. MVES does not pay for these services and supplies, ONLY your donations make this possible. Thanks to you, we've raised $86,575 this year, but we still need your help for the remaining $8,425 to ensure these labs are funded to educate your child next year.

If each family only donated $25, we can make up the difference!

The Foundation is so important because 100% of all donations pay for your child's Computer & Science Lab instructors. These specialists allow a lower number of students in ALL specials classes and MVES is now working toward STEM certification, ALL THANKS to our Foundation funded Teachers!

Without your donations, there would be NO SCIENCE OR COMPUTER INSTRUCTION! No STEM certification to work toward, LARGER SPECIALS classes in ALL subjects.

PLEASE help by donating to your teacher or click HERE to support your student's education today! Your donation is tax deductable.

School Supply Kits are ready for order
They will be shipped directly to the school the week of July 18th to have in the classroom for Sneak A Peek. A sample kit is in MVES foyer for your viewing. Click HERE to order! EMAIL if you have any questions. Thank you for all you do!

From Nurse Karetha
Do you know what to do if someone suddenly collapses and needs CPR?  There’s no need to be afraid of doing CPR incorrectly.  Hands-Only CPR only has two steps:  (1) Call 911 and (2) push hard and fast in the middle of the chest. Still not sure? Watch this catchy, fun video to see how simple it truly is HERE.

Special Student Services Corner
Standardized Testing Anxiety is Standard
Students encounter many standardized testing environments throughout their school life, and the American Test Anxieties Association reports 38 percent of students suffer from medium-high to high levels of test anxiety. When your child also struggles with a learning disorder, you know the testing process can become even more stressful. Click HERE for a few tips to handle standardized testing and learning disorders so your child can reduce anxiety levels.

Why Is The Foundation Important?
Computer Lab wouldn't be there

Importance of Computer Education to Students

Technology has struggled to find its way into the classroom in all sorts of ways, from projectors and televisions to computer labs and student laptops. Along with improving the way students are taught, it is also vitally important that students learn to use computers to improve their own work and prepare for careers in a world where computers have become as common as the pencil and paper. Click HERE for the article.
